They'll need to quickly determine exactly what this is because, as Brad has said many (many) times before: concern among law enforcement about mass shootings is mounting. In 2018, there were 337 mass shootings, according to the Gun Policy Archive—which defines such an incident as a shooting with four or more victims injured or killed — not including the shooter. In 2019, the number spiked to 417. And last year -while we were all preoccupied with COVID-19 pandemic, the number surged to a stunning 611 mass shooting incidents. There have already been 102 mass shootings so far this year – only three months in. Why is this happening?
